Confessional pluralism in Central and Eastern Europe: A GIS approach

In this recent study, we analyse the religious diversity of Central and Eastern Europe, from Balkans up to Baltic region. This region has many confessions, without claiming completeness, Roman Catholic, Reformed, Lutheran, Orthodox, Islam, Hussite people any religion. The spatial distribution confessions been shaped by different drivers across Europe. We chose a quantitative method visually interpret pluralism selected indices. calculated ethnicities in very detailed resolution, at municipality level each country, based on population census data 2011. found statistically significant relationship between ethnicities. have also shown that near national borders, is higher than another areas.
